One of the most important activities of the HCEA for its members is the production of a quarterly magazine, Equipment Echoes. Along with historical, educational and technical articles and numerous photographs, the magazine reports historical equipment news and events. Each issue has a full color cover as well as full color back cover usually depicting our members equipment.
Each issue includes:
- News - All the news that's fit to print. Covers the HCEA and the Museum and Archive.
- Tom's Trivia - In most issues, Archivist Tom Berry provides some witty and challenging construction related trivia questions in each issue.
- Diggin' For Help - In many issues, we print requests and photos from our members needing help in identifying and restoring equipment.
- Reviews - Each issue has reviews of books and videos on construction, mining and dredging equipment and its history.
- Classifieds - Listings and photos of equipment, parts, collectibles and more, for sale or wanted to buy.
